I remember this moment like it was yesterday.

At 26 years old, I was sitting on my dad’s couch.

I had just gotten out of a toxic, abusive relationship, feeling completely lost and broken at one of the lowest points in my life.

I was watching a motivational video on YouTube.

And I will never forget the words that this speaker said because they changed the trajectory of my life forever.

If you’re neurodivergent, if you think you’re neurodivergent, or if you just seem to be having a harder time than everyone else in life and you don’t know why, this is for you.

You’re not alone, you’re not the only one struggling, and all hope is not lost.

It’s now four years from that day that I was sitting on my dad’s couch.

Looking back on my life, the things that I’ve gone through, and the things that I’ve overcome, I am honestly in disbelief at where I’m at today.

It almost feels like that person who was struggling four years ago is a completely different person than who I am today.

And you can get to that point too.

I know if you’re in the thick of it right now, it can feel like that future is so far away, but it is possible.

It’s possible to live a happy and fulfilling life that you don’t have to struggle to get through every single day.

So let’s talk about the five mental shifts that I had to make that helped me get to where I am today.

And, I’m going to share those words that I heard four years ago that completely changed my perspective and changed my life forever.
